Is what you have on your site all your have in the store?
We have A LOT more dresses in our stores than we do online.
Do I need an appointment?
Yes. We are by appointment only. If you would like to come in to look at dresses, you don't need one, but you will not be allowed to try anything on.
We offer appointments for:
Brides, Mothers Of, Formal Guest Of, Bridesmaids
Which location should I go to?
We hold all of our appointments at our WALLINGFORD flagship location. We have an entire floor devoted to our formal dresses including bridal, mother of, guest of and more!
What size do you go up to?
Almost all of our designers go up to size 24 (some 28) and we have floor samples in sizes 6-24. The majority of our floor samples are between sizes 10-18; if you wear a smaller size, we have dress clips so you can see your fit!
Do I have to order a dress?
No! All of our gowns are available to be purchased off the floor. This is great if you're in a time crunch or the dress you want won't be available in time for your event.
Why do you charge for appointments?
We get this question a lot. It is becoming an industry standard to charge for appointments to reduce no-shows as well as paying for your stylists time.
How much are your dresses?
Our dresses start at around $300 and go up to $1600. We try to accomodate your budget and ask how much you would like to spend when booking your appointment. Keep scrolling to see the price range for each designer.
Can I get rehearsal dinner & shower dresses?
Yes! Dresses are our thing. At both locations you will find a large selection of dresses, jumpsuits, suits, and dressy separates for all your event needs at a range of prices. We also have shoes, jewelry, and all the accessories you could possibly need.

When should I book my appointment?
This is our most asked question. We recommend our brides book a year out from their wedding date so they have enough time for the dress to come in and alter it without being on a time crunch.
For mothers, we recommend starting your search 10 months before the wedding. Sounds like a long time right? Well, believe it or not, some gowns can take 6 months to arrive. Delivery dates differ designer to designer, and dress to dress. Some dresses can arrive within a week while some take a little longer depending on the time of year you start your search.
In a time crunch? We deal with this all the time! We offer all our dresses to be purchased off the rack, and if something needs to be ordered, your stylist will actively check delivery dates during your appointment.
For 2025 weddings:
Date is April-June: Start shopping in September
Date is May-July: Start shopping in January
Date Is July-August: Start shopping in January/February
Date is August-December: Start shopping in February/March
